Acupuncture Noosa ProfileStudying Eastern philosophies helps me on my path to health and wellness. Classical Chinese medicine uses a holistic approach to medicine. I am always willing to communicate with your medical providers to ensure continuity of care. I particularly enjoy working with women's health, chronic pain, chronic conditions. Struggling with chronic pain leaves us managing discomfort on our own and pressured to make important medical decisions. This is challenging and daunting if you are already presented with enduring chronic pain or a chronic symptom picture. My treatments look at all aspects of living that have an impact on your quality of life.

My background:

My interest in Eastern philosophy led me to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture (Boston, Massachusetts). I received my Master's degree of Oriental Medicine in the study of Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I am involved in post graduate studies with Classical Chinese Medicine Scholar Arnaud Versluys. Before my Chinese medicine studies, I was a Clinical Social Worker in crisis counseling and case management. I then worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities which led me to become a US Nationally Certified American Sign Language Medical Interpreter. I stay healthy with meditation, hiking, exercise and mindful self care.
